Destiny 2 Update Nerfs Still Hunt, Fixes Point-Contact Cannon Brace and Strange Favor
The most recent patch for the popular game Destiny 2, created by Bungie, is now live. As predicted, it reduced the power of the unique, exotic sniper rifle known as Still Hunt from the gaming expansion, The Final Shape, by 33 percent. This change is specific to the Hunter class when using Celestial Nighthawk. The beneficial effects of Sniper's Meditation for the weapon's regular Golden Gun attacks no longer apply, but single-target damage remains substantial and will remain useful in various raid encounters.
In addition to these changes, the Point-Contact Cannon Brace will no longer induce lightning strikes during unexpected melee events. Issues involving the Strange Favor buff from the character Xur not yielding extra Strange Coins during ritual activities have also been resolved. Lastly, once all Lost Ghost missions from the character Micah-10 have been completed, the 'Ghost Tracker' prompt will disappear.
Destiny 2 can be enjoyed on various platforms, including Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
