The First Descendant – Valby, Freyna, and Blair Will Receive Buffs in Next Update

The opener for The First Descendant’s fresh content is set for August 1, bringing with it a host of balancing tweaks for various characters and weaponry. As per the words of the game's director, Joo Min-Seok, performance enhancements will be noticeable for Valby, Blair and Freyna.

Ultimate Weapons such as the Enduring Legacy, the Secret Garden and Nazeistra’s Devotion that depend on a critical hit chance are set to perform more potently under critical settings. In addition, Greg's Reversed Fate's randomness is being fine-tuned to enable more opportunities for activation. Single-shot weapons are also receiving upgrades for better performance.

With the update, you can expect improved quality of life, new cosmetic assets and other enhancements. The First Descendant game is playable on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PCs. The impending update introduces a fresh Ultimate Descendant, Valby, with unique Modules, and Luna, a Support Descendant.

Additionally, gamers have the opportunity to face off against a new Colossus, Gluttony, and acquire a new Ultimate Weapon and Ultimate Module.
