WhatsApp Introduces Several New Features to iOS
WhatsApp has been on a roll when it comes to adding new features to the app. The developers have just introduced a new 22.2.75 version of the app for iOS and now a number of features that have been in testing are finally a part of WhatsApp.
The first one to discuss is pausing and resuming when you record a voice message. This feature has been tested since the fall of last year and now it has become public. The next function you will be able to use in the application has to do with iOS 15. The developers added Focus mode support, so now if you have a number of chosen users in the app, they will be able to message you even when you are in a Focus mode. This is a convenient feature for when someone needs to send you urgent messages.
Also, the next feature on the list deals with profile photos. With its help, you will now be able to see profile photos of users that send you messages. This feature was the last one to be prepared for the app and it will work similarly to Twitter. The developers are currently working on other functions, including reactions similar to iMessage. This is something that can currently be seen in the beta version of the app for iOS, so users can expect a range of new settings that will allow people to manage reactions.
To make sure that new features appear on your device, you should download the 22.2.75 version of WhatsApp. One thing to note is that features won’t appear on all devices at the same time. They are planned to roll out over the next weeks, so you should look out for an update if you are interested in using new functions.
What do you think about these new features? Are there any others that you are waiting for? Please, share your thoughts in the comments below!
