It Takes Two review

In It Takes Two, the players take the roles of Cody and May, parents who have been turned into dolls by magic. They have to make their way back to their daughter and break the spell. They will encounter various creatures, humans, animals, and living things on their way through the mystical and colorful worlds.

Two players best play the game, and there are different abilities for each character, which have to be used in order to solve puzzles, fight enemies, and face the new tasks that Dr. Hakim, the Love Saver, offers.

Gameplay

The gameplay of It Takes Two can be described in three paragraphs:

  • Unlike most platformers, this one can only be played by two players;
  • Each player has his or her own set of abilities for each level;
  • Players combine their abilities to solve puzzles and defeat enemies in unexpected wars they get involved in.

The gameplay in It Takes Two is split into two separate player modes: Cody Mode and May Mode. Each mode offers its challenges and obstacles.

Graphics

The environments are as imaginative as it gets. Secondly, the system requirements are rather moderate so that the game can run on old PC's and previous generation consoles.
