The game is also published by Tencent Games in China. Garena Free Fire refers to both the mobile game and the game server platform that runs the game. It is an online shooter game with the same gameplay of other popular game titles like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Rules of Survival. Free Fire: Kalahari is a mobile version of the PC version, Free Fire Battlegrounds. The gameplay is almost the same, there are only a few differences that make the mobile version more suitable for mobile devices.
